Today I took myself off to Belvedere, for the first time this year.
It was a beautiful sunny morning and I went early in order to miss the crowds. Hey, I knew I wasn't going to be the only one with this bright idea.
I have been looking forward to walking around the lake and through the forests, all during lockdown. It's been one of the milestones that I've plotted out on my road to re-entering life. What I wasn't prepared for, were the tears of relief/joy that escaped down my cheeks when I started my walk.
Good Lord, if that's how I reacted when I entered a garden, can you imagine what a mess I'm going to be when I eventually get to enter a pub!
